Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start required
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the specialty required, dated within the past 12 months
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical and telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals within 1 year of their prior end date
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted
• No exceptions made for hits on professional license
