Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week contract requiring a CA RN license and recent critical care experience.

Details

Hospital-based Intensive Care Unit setting
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
36 scheduled hours per week
13-week assignment length
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active CA Registered Nurse (RN) license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU experience within the last 3 years
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
2+ years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
CCRN certification preferred
Dialysis or SLED experience preferred
Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates

Antioch campus is awesome. Drs are very friendly and helpful. RNs are awesome

Cons

There is some toxic staff unfortunately which is a shame . It’s a great campus. Union SEIU there is corruot unfortunately. Whistle while you work and ignore the staff who are unprofessional and you’ll have no issues.
