Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU/Step-Down position requiring at least 2 years of recent specialty experience and NIH Stroke Certification.
Details
- Works in the PCU/Step-Down unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within 30 days of start)
- NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU RNs
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in PCU/Step-Down specialty
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
- One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide step-down level nursing care to progressive care patients
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
- First-time travelers may be considered
