Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring an active MI license and Level I Trauma Center experience.

Details

• Work in a combined Adult/Pediatric General Emergency Department
• Level I Trauma Center environment
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• No call requirements
• No floating required, though travelers may float first if needed
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, CPI
• 2 years of ER experience preferred, including Level I Trauma experience
• Supervisor-level references required
• Proof of flu vaccination required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care to a combined adult and pediatric patient population in a Level I Trauma Center
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• No RTO permitted for Christmas holiday, one holiday day may be requested
• Maximum of 10 RTO days allowed during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
• Previous Bronson travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
