Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU/SICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2 years of ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week contract on day shift, 07:00-19:00
• No blocked scheduling permitted

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• AHA or RQI certifications required
• 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Minimum of 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to neuroscience and surgical ICU patients
• Medical exemptions only accepted for flu vaccine declinations; personal or religious exemptions not accepted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
