Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring active MN licensure and prior L&D experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:30
• Every third weekend required
• Preferred experience in OR, Antepartum, and Triage
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system
• Additional skills in Triage and Circulate (Circulate preferred)

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license required in hand or proof of application submitted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• 3 years of High Risk OB charge experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date
• Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting including triage and circulating duties
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
• Candidates requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must provide appropriate documentation
