Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
• Treatment rooms surround a large gym space
• Schedule is 4x10-hour days, Monday-Friday, 2 days 7am-5pm and 2 days 7am-6pm
• 60-minute one-on-one sessions with no overlapping patients
• Epic charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, with outpatient clinic experience
• BLS certification required
• WI Physical Therapist license preferred; license required if applicable
• Pending WI or Compact license accepted, must be obtained during compliance
• Experience treating orthopedic conditions including ankle sprains, DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, hip and knee injuries, low back pain, and post-op cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgeries
• Skilled in gait training, extremity mobilization, spinal mobilization, and use of crutches, gait belts, and standard walkers
• Experience with geriatric and orthopedic patient populations
• Proficient in documentation including evaluations, assessments, plans of care, and discharge planning

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, home exercise program development, and patient/family education
• Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies
