Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring oncology experience and at least 2 years of current nursing experience.
Details
- Adult Medical Oncology unit within a hospital setting
- 18-bed unit caring for solid tumor patients
- Acute care, Med Surg Telemetry patient population
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required
- Oncology experience required
- Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
- 1-2 prior travel assignments required
- Experience at a comparable facility size required (500+ bed count for large academic hospitals)
- Alaris pump experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide acute medical oncology nursing care to solid tumor patients
- Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
