Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position offering exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties including robotic-assisted procedures.

Details

• Main OR setting providing 24/7 inpatient and outpatient surgical services with private pre/post-op rooms
• Procedures include bariatric, neuro spine, ortho, vascular, plastics, and more
• Features da Vinci robotic surgery for minimally invasive procedures
• First shift schedule, 3x12s from 6:30a-6:30p
• Requires 4-5 overnight calls per 6-week schedule and 3-4 7-11p calls per schedule period

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in IN or compact
• BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
