Description
American Traveler is seeking a NICU Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift contract requiring NRP and PALS certification.
Details
- NICU setting providing critical care to neonatal patients
- Responsible for transport of infants to/from referral health systems
- Straight night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Uses Epic EMR
- No holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Current Respiratory Therapist license (license required if applicable)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Less than 1 year of experience required
- Experience with EMR documentation and order entry
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic treatment and assists physicians as needed
- Provides patient and family education and support
- Documents patient assessments, condition changes, and pertinent communications with care team
- Disassembles, cleans, and maintains respiratory equipment per protocol
- Processes patient charges and verifies reports as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs
