Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a ports/injections clinic role requiring outpatient infusion experience and current ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification.

Details

• Outpatient oncology clinic setting supporting a ports/injections program
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Flexible scheduling with either four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts weekly
• If working four days per week, Friday is typically the day off
• Uses Epic for charting and clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• Current ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy course certificate required
• 3+ years of current outpatient oncology or medical infusion experience required
• 1+ years of outpatient experience required
• Strong IV skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration

Additional Information

• Administer oncology medications and injections, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
• Support daily operations of a busy ports and injections clinic
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston will be considered at a reduced rate
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must report RTO at time of consideration
