Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a Perinatal Diagnostic Program requiring 2+ years OB/GYN sonography experience and RDMS (OB/GYN) certification.

Details

Outpatient high-risk maternity clinic within a Perinatal Diagnostic Program
Patient population includes low and high-risk obstetrics and gynecology, all age groups
6 exam rooms/suites with a daily volume of 8 to 10 patients per sonographer
Uses Epic (Radiant) EMR
Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Fridays scheduled 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
No schedule rotation or self-scheduling

Requirements

Minimum 2 years clinical experience
Minimum 2 years OB/GYN sonography experience
RDMS Certification (OB/GYN) required
Fetal Echo Certification preferred but not required
Epic (Radiant) EMR experience
FL license required if applicable
Must be comfortable working with all age groups in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment

Additional Information

Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging in a high-risk maternity outpatient setting
3 days of unit orientation provided
Unit Manager interview required, MFM provider will also interview candidates
Dress code includes gray scrubs, closed-toe non-permeable shoes, minimal jewelry, professional hair/beard grooming, and minimal nail polish
Requested time off should be disclosed prior to consideration for the assignment
Florida AHCA Level 2 screening may take up to 14 business days to process
Seasonal influenza vaccination required, with medical exemption requests allowed for the 2026-2027 season or completion of an exemption module
First-time travelers not accepted
50-mile radius rule applies
Local candidates accepted
