Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echo Technologist with 4+ years of experience, including at least 1 year in pediatrics at a high acuity facility.

Details

• 226-bed non-profit community hospital setting in the 3N NICU unit
• Patient population includes CAD, hypertension, post-TAVR, TEE, and pediatric patients ages 0-18 (typically 2-3 per week)
• Provides coverage support for the adult echo team during downtime
• Average of 4-6 scans per shift depending on schedule
• Uses Philips equipment at the hospital and Canon US unit at the clinic
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• No weekend rotation or on-call requirements
• 1-2 holidays required per contract
• May float to adult echo services and an outpatient clinic location as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with at least 1 year in pediatric echo at a high acuity, fast-paced facility
• Current BLS and ARDMS (RCDS) or CCI (RCS) certification required; ARDMS (RCDS-PE) preferred
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Experience with Canon US equipment preferred
• Pediatric echo experience required with ability to perform high-quality scans on a wide range of common cases
• Strong clinical judgment and quick decision-making skills
