Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• 19-bed Labor and Delivery unit
• Patient ratios of 1:2
• High acuity patient population
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• On-call requirement of 12 hours within a 6-week scheduling period
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification and EFM certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursing degree must be from an accredited program listed on profile, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to high acuity Labor and Delivery patients
• Travelers are expected to integrate into the unit and function as core staff
• Scrub colors required: Galaxy Blue and/or white
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates, and cannot own or cosign property within that radius
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration, as facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge and ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents
