Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour day shift assignment requiring a compact or MT RN license and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Med Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required and must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required depending on unit or service needs
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg required
• Epic charting experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Background check and drug screen results required, with candidates expected to report to the lab within 24 hours of commitment
