Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring EPIC experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and a compact or PA RN license.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call requirements
• May float to Med Surg as needed
• Potential exposure to COVID-19 patients

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard, Compact, or PA) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skills required include cardiac monitoring and emergency response, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, arterial and central line care/management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator patient care, and ETT/NT suctioning
• Isolation precautions and PPE competency required
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care ICU environment
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), or 1 of 2 if contract spans fewer holidays
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for the standard travel pay rate; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
