Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position at a very rural 25-bed facility, requiring PointClickCare experience and flexibility for day or night shifts.
Details
- Work in a 25-bed Long Term Care/Intermediate Care unit at a very rural facility
- Rotating 12-hour day (6:30a-6:30p) or night (6:30p-6:30a) shifts on a Saturday through Friday work week
- Rotating schedule of 36 and 48 hour weeks
- Weekend shifts required
- Mandatory floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby in accordance with client policies and Joint Commission standards, including for closed departments
Requirements
- Active RN license (NM or Compact) in hand
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- PointClickCare charting experience required
- Cerner charting experience required
- Two professional references required
Additional Information
- Must be flexible to work either day or night shift as scheduling needs require
- Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
- RTO requests should be minimized, with no requests for a full calendar week off during the assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Previous travelers may reapply, though permanent staff seeking to travel require facility approval
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted for this position
