Description

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Oncology RN with ONS Provider certification for a 13-week contract providing infusion therapy and chemotherapy care in a rural outpatient setting.

Details

• Outpatient Nursing Services (OPNS) setting providing oncology care
• Responsibilities include infusion therapy, chemotherapy administration, and some wound care
• Works closely with a small patient population, fostering ongoing patient relationships
• Day shift schedule, 8am-5pm
• 13-week contract length
• Uses Meditech EMR
• No holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active Utah or compact state RN license required
• Current ONS Provider certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Wound Care certification preferred but not required
• Less than 1 year of experience required
• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and patient safety techniques
• Full COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
