Description
American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer with 2+ years of dedicated vascular lab experience for a small, primarily outpatient vascular ultrasound lab.
Details
- Small vascular lab staffed with 3 full-time and 2 per diem sonographers
- Primarily outpatient exams with some inpatient studies and rare portable scans
- Generous scan times
- Mostly adult patients with very rare pediatric cases
- 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Wednesdays off
- Rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care vascular lab experience required
- Unit-specific experience within the last 6 months preferred, with tentative approval for experience within the last 9 months
- Active NH license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by CCI or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
- Open to pediatric-inexperienced candidates given sufficient vascular lab background
Additional Information
- First-time travelers considered if they have 2+ years of dedicated vascular lab experience
- Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at a local rate
- Weekly orientation provided
- Former perm staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
