Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 10-bed community hospital ICU requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• 10-bed ICU setting within a community hospital
• Cares for critically ill adult patients including medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• Occasionally manages pediatric patients requiring stabilization prior to transfer
• May manage acute stroke patients via telestroke/tele-neurology services as part of a Primary Stroke Center
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct critical care nursing to a diverse adult ICU population, with occasional pediatric and stroke cases
• Local candidates accepted
• Returning employees must complete a 6-month break between any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility assignments
• Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
