Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a rotating day/night float pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of medical-surgical experience.
Details
- Float pool position covering medical-surgical and telemetry units
- 12-hour rotating shifts, 7a-7p or 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Self-scheduling process with staff input on special requests
- Med/surg staffing ratios are 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights
- Telemetry staffing ratios are 4:1 on days and 5:1 on nights
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- 2+ years of medical-surgical RN experience required
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across medical-surgical and telemetry floors as part of the float pool team
- No more than 3 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- First-time travelers are not eligible; prior travel assignment experience required
