Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Nursing Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
- Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty
- 12-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week over an 8-week assignment
- Floating to Addison Gilbert Hospital required as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a day-one pass/fail test at orientation (1 attempt) covering Tele/ECG and medication competency
- Must complete Relias onboarding modules with up to 2 attempts to prepare for onsite testing
Additional Information
- Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care within a float pool role
- No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius unless approved for the local rate
- Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning
- Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
