Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring active IL RN licensure and a minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.

Details

Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
Night shift schedule, 7pm-730am, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required
May float to Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital
Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
ASN required, BSN preferred
Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care
Report and correct safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety
Collaborate with the healthcare team and offer constructive feedback to peers
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for more than 1 year must complete a 6-month break in service before returning
