Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience for a role primarily supporting operating room imaging needs.

Details

• Medical Imaging - X-Ray department in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes outpatient, inpatient, ED, OR, NICU, pediatric, vented, and sedated patients
• Performs whole body, musculoskeletal, neuro, and portable imaging
• No fluoroscopy procedures required, such as lumbar punctures or GI studies
• Majority of time spent in the OR
• Uses Carestream portables, GE Rooms, and GE C-arm equipment
• Average of 15-20 patients per day
• Charting systems include Epic and Sectra
• 40 hour variable shift schedule with varied shifts as needed
• Weekend rotation and holiday expectations discussed during interview
• Rarely on call, with schedule discussed during interview
• No floating required

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience preferred, less may be considered depending on candidate background
• OR experience required
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) through ARRT required
• License required if applicable
• C-arm experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience required
