Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring 2+ years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (post-acute) setting with 42 beds
• Patient population includes LTC, memory care, dementia, and orthopedic diagnoses with no current behavioral risks
• Staffing ratio of 2 nurses during days/evenings and 1 nurse during nights
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR
• Primarily night shifts (6p-6:30a) with possible evening shifts (2p-10:30p)
• Shift lengths include 8s and 12s
• Weekend rotation of every other weekend, working two weekends on and one off
• Holiday coverage required every other holiday
• No on-call or call-back requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (SD or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a long-term care and skilled nursing facility environment
• Location-specific building orientation including lifts training, approximately 2-4 hours
• Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Candidates residing outside the 80-mile radius or not using facility housing receive standard travel rates
