Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with ARDMS OB/GYN and NT certification for a high-risk pregnancy clinic setting.

Details

• Outpatient High Risk Pregnancy Clinic across 6 ultrasound rooms at one facility and 2 rooms at another
• Perform 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians
• Patient population includes maternal and fetal high-risk conditions requiring detailed ultrasound imaging
• Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR required
• 5x8 day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends, nights, on-call, or major holidays
• May float within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sonographer, with at least 1 year specifically in OB/GYN required
• BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and NT certifications required
• Outpatient and OB/GYN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skilled in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasounds, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screen, amniotic fluid index, and umbilical cord doppler
• Experience with transvaginal ultrasound, renal/pelvis, ovaries, and uterus imaging
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• License required if applicable

• First-time travelers accepted
• Report ultrasound findings to MFM physicians as part of daily responsibilities
• Scrubs required, any color with no prints
• Returning staff may be considered after a 3-month break, but must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Candidates should confirm RTO requests during the submission process, as post-submission requests may not be granted
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the health system
