Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures at a Level II Trauma facility.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital designated Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma with 615 staffed beds
• Cath Lab/EP unit with daily caseload of 7-20 cases per tech
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required as needed
• No floating to sister facilities required
• No weekend shifts required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab/EP Technologist required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State license required if applicable
• Strong stimming experience required
• Proficiency in scrubbing, monitoring, circulating, and EKG required
• Experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Rotablader, and left/right heart catheterization required
• Experience with arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, EP evaluation, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, pacemaker insertion, Watchman, Tilt Table Study, and Afib ablations (RF and Cryo) required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required with medical or religious exemptions accepted
