Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC unit position on night shift, requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital environment
• Patient population includes DKA, respiratory failure, NSTEMI, vascular, renal failure, CHF, sepsis, and GI bleed diagnoses
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-7:15)
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to a medically complex intermediate care patient population
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per assignment
• Holiday coverage required based on how many major holidays fall within the assignment period (up to two of three major holidays)
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Previous Piedmont employees or travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year to be eligible to return
• Shift and schedule are firm, with no alternate shift or schedule requests permitted
