Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring AZ or compact RN license and 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a 38-bed Emergency Department
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12s
- Facility is Trauma Level III Certified, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving
- Must be willing to float
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Black scrubs required
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- NIHSS certification recommended but not required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care
- Delegate and supervise assigned staff in delivering patient care as needed
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
