Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 15-week day shift contract requiring a Hawaii state license.
Details
- Day shift schedule, 0630-1900, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
- 15-week contract assignment
- No guarantee of hours
- Cares for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Utilizes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac transport ventilator
- EPIC EMR used
- Holiday coverage required
Requirements
- RRT certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS with NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
- Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply upon offer acceptance
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
Additional Information
- Provide continuous airway management and ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support
- Consult with physicians and perform CPR and all aspects of respiratory care
- Must arrive the Thursday before start date to attend an employee health appointment the following Friday
- Do not accept a start date if unable to arrive on time for this requirement
