Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 1 year of combined MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, active and in hand
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty being applied for, completed within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
