Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU/SICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring 2+ years of recent ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit setting
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Epic EMR experience required
• No blocked scheduling permitted

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS and any additional certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• 2 years of recent experience in Neuro ICU/SICU required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts allowed
• Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US SSN required
• Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccine (personal or religious declinations not accepted)

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to neurosurgical and surgical ICU patients
• No local candidates permitted within a 50-mile radius, including Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at the time of submission
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
