Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU Float position requiring 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

Float role supporting PCU with additional coverage in overflow units and ED holds
Night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours), 19:00-7:00
Must be agreeable to alternating 36/48 hour schedule
EPIC charting experience preferred

Requirements

Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Strong RN clinical experience required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care across PCU, ER holding, MS/Tele, and stepdown units as needed
Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including for marijuana, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
