Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring a KY or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• MS/Tele unit setting
• M/S patient ratio of 7:1 and Tele patient ratio of 5:1
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling accommodated
• Meditech charting system used

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of RN experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Meditech charting experience preferred
• Two supervisory references required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for med/surg and telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, respiratory support, and wound care
• Skills utilized may include tracheostomy care, chest tube management, PICC line management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Previous employees are eligible to return
