Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 12-hour night shift position requiring 2-3 years of ICU experience and an active NH or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to ED (beyond ICU holds), Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment, and possibly Behavioral Health
• May be requested to float to affiliated Concord Hospital locations in Laconia or Franklin, NH
• Uses specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, Arctic Sun/TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC, PALS, and CCRN certifications preferred
• 2-3 years of ICU experience required, with strong self-starters considered closer to 2 years
• CVICU experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and quickly across a variety of care needs

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients using advanced life support equipment
• Weekly orientation provided
• Radius rule of 50 miles determines eligibility for local versus travel rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
