Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with an active AR or compact license and 2+ years of ER experience for a mid-shift travel assignment.

Details

• 25-bed Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• Not a designated trauma center
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses tele-med cart, Baxter IV pump, and Omnicell equipment
• Charts in Meditech EHR
• Mid-shift schedule (1:00 PM - 1:00 AM)
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend coverage preferred (full weekend shift or at least 3 weekends per month)
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to ICU, CCU, or Med-Surg as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (AR or compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP and TNCC certifications preferred
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Experience with trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic patient care required
• Triage experience preferred
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time

• Provide emergency care for a mix of cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic diagnoses

• Scrub color requirement: navy or black, with only hospital-branded t-shirts allowed
• No other hospital logos permitted on attire
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
