Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Step-Down position requiring at least 1 year of intermediate care/step-down experience and an active NJ or compact license.

Details

• Medical Step-Down unit within a hospital setting
• PM shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week over three 12-hour shifts
• Required to work every third weekend
• One summer holiday coverage required
• Floating as needed, including to a nearby sister hospital
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of Intermediate Care/Step-Down nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills required
