Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring fetal monitoring certification and willingness to float to Med-Surg for pediatric patients.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 1845-0715
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required in rotation
• May float to Med-Surg unit as needed for overflow patients, including pediatric patients
• 2-3 on-call shifts per month
• 13-week contract length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AHA)
• Must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start if not already certified
• Fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) completed within the past 24 months required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• 3+ years of LDR experience in a rural hospital setting preferred
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• New graduates will not be considered
