Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring an active MA RN license and prior NICU experience.
Details
- Provides critical care nursing to full-term and premature infants in the NICU
- Works with critically ill neonates and infants requiring complex medical and surgical care
- FLEX 12hr/36hr day/night rotation with start times of 7a and 7p
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Requirements
- Active RN license (Massachusetts)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
- Strong assessment, clinical, organizational, and computer/charting skills required
- Must be able to lift, transfer, and move patients
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Able to complete mathematical computations required for treatment protocols
Additional Information
- Ensures safe, efficient, effective, and timely care that meets cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of patients and families
- Delivers compassionate and competent nursing care in collaboration with the care team
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility for local rate consideration
