Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry/DOU RN for a night shift stepdown unit position requiring an active CA RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Stepdown unit (IMC/DOU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a)
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend required, first to float
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license (Standard or Compact) required, pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Must pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam (basic or advanced) prior to offer confirmation
• Pass/fail sterile technique test for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes administered on first day of orientation
• Candidates who fail the second attempt of the Relias exam or sterile technique test will be ineligible for 6 months
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year
