Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation setting requiring a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Outpatient physical rehabilitation setting
• Monday-Friday schedule with weekend/holiday rotation
• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Uses EPIC EMR
• 12-hour non-billable orientation period

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist required
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required for those licensed after 2016; bachelor's/master's degree accepted if licensed prior to 2016
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy required, or proof of Authorization to Test with scheduled exam within 60 days of eligibility (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Valid state driver's license required
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required
• Analytical ability to evaluate patients, establish treatment goals, and document care required
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft software required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating patients' physical and functional status, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with treatment teams
• Works closely with therapy technicians and assistants to resolve patient care issues
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for a local pay rate
• No radius restriction for eligibility
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Negative drug screen required for all panels due to facility's drug-free campus policy
