Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position at a Level I trauma facility, requiring PALS certification and multi-ICU float experience.
Details
- PICU setting at a Level I trauma facility
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 1:2 patient ratios
- Required to work every weekend (Saturday/Sunday) plus one weekday
- Floats between ICUs across two hospital campuses, including NICU (Level IV), TICU, PICU, and CICU
- May float to general care areas when no ICU need exists
- Uses Servo ventilators across all ICUs
- RRTs utilized in each ICU
Requirements
- Active Georgia or compact RN license required
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Level I trauma facility experience required
- Experience in NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU settings required
- Experience with typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors required
- Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must be available to work either the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation based on staffing needs
- Candidates requesting both holidays off will not be considered
- ASAP starts only
- Nicotine-free campus; hospital tests for nicotine
