Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level IV Trauma Center requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department in an acute care Level IV Trauma Center
• 30 all-private ER rooms including a six-room EDOU observation unit
• 6 fast track beds staffed with a PA for minor non-urgent issues
• 1 seclusion room plus 5 additional monitored rooms
• 1:3 or 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Average of 100 patients seen per day
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
• Treats all patient types including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Uses Allscripts Sunrise EMR
• Uses Omnicell medication system
• Evening shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 0900-2100
• 36-hour per week guarantee

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient acuities including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Scrub color may be any color except all black
• Scrubs are not provided
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Cancellation policy allows up to 3 cancellations per 13-week assignment
