Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry for a hospital Internal Medicine unit requiring strong pulmonary experience and NIHSS certification.
Details
- Internal Medicine unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience required for tele interpretation
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience required
- Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
- Strong pulmonary nursing experience required
- Experience with trach and chest tube care required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsible for telemetry interpretation and monitoring of cardiac patients
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
