Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a complex surgical unit requiring strong surgical skills and 18 months of tele experience.
Details
- Complex surgical unit setting requiring strong surgical skills
- AM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers may not be well suited for this complex surgical unit given the experience requirements
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
- Former Emory staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
