Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift hospital assignment requiring NY licensure and ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification.
Details
- Nuclear Medicine department in a community hospital setting
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week scheduled, 36 hours guaranteed
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- GE machine used for imaging
- EPIC EMR required, McKesson PACS used
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience required
- CT experience a plus
- Venipuncture experience required
- NYS license required if applicable
- ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous travel experience strongly encouraged
- Candidate must have their own vehicle
Additional Information
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using GE equipment
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
- Non-billable orientation is 8 hours
- No block scheduling considered for this position
- RTO requests must be submitted and verified prior to upload; no more than 5 days accepted
- Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
- Candidates with permanent addresses in certain nearby NY counties will not be considered
