Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN requiring 18 months of recent Tele experience, GA or compact license, and Epic EMR experience for a long-term assignment.

Details

Work in the 4M Cardiovascular unit of a hospital setting
3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
No on-call responsibilities
Required to float to other departments and facilities as needed based on a department-based rotation

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license in hand
BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required to start, along with NIHSS
Minimum of 18 months of Telemetry experience required
Skilled in IV insertion and PICC line management
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Provide telemetry nursing care to cardiovascular patients
Interview process includes a Nurse Manager interview
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as no local candidates are accepted
Former Emory or Houston Perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
