Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of strong experience in Coronary Cath Lab and EP procedures.

Details

Cardiac Cath Lab setting performing coronary, EP, ablation, and IR procedures in a dual modality environment
Cases may include left heart catheterizations, STEMI, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman), and neuro IR cases
4x10 hour day shifts, with hours varying between 8 and 11 hours depending on case completion
Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
On-call requirement of 8-9 days per month, typically 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month
Floating required between Biloxi and Gulfport locations
Coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with strong background in Coronary Cath Lab and EP procedures
RCIS certification required
License required if applicable
New graduates will not be considered
Experience in high-volume Cath Lab settings preferred
Experience with EP, ablation, STEMI, and structural heart procedures such as TAVR or Watchman preferred
Neuro IR experience preferred

Additional Information

Perform coronary catheterization, EP, ablation, IR, and structural heart procedures
Orientation held in Gulfport on a biweekly basis
Credentials due the Monday prior to start date
All staff must complete MS SAFER fingerprinting prior to starting the assignment
Candidates must complete MS SAFER registration and fingerprinting within 48 hours of accepting an offer to avoid start date delays
Out-of-state travelers should note that MS SAFER materials are mailed and should plan accordingly
