Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certification along with TX or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- TNCC certification required for ED placement
- NIH Stroke certification required
- CPI certification required for all ER units
- 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration

- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted

Cons
Only thing they will float travelers to antepartum or assign pp pts on hold in L&D unit more frequently instead of rotating the nurses.
