Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with an active CA license and telemetry reading proficiency for a 13-week acute care contract.

Details

Med/Surg Tele acute care unit serving adult and pediatric patients
Uses Cerner EMR
Day shift schedule, 0700-1900, three 12-hour shifts per week
Holiday coverage required
13-week contract assignment

Requirements

Active California RN license required
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Ability to read telemetry required
Less than 1 year of experience required

Additional Information

Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Administer treatments and medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate care plans
Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes
Provide patient and family education as part of care delivery
RTO requests not approved unless specified in the offer
